Metz signed Hamza Kamadani to their youth teams last summer. The young striker made his debut with the club in September 2025, in a friendly match against US Strassen. He scored a goal in this easily won match by Metz (7-1). Hamza Kamadani continued to progress with the club, accumulating matches and playing time necessary to move up the ranks in the youth teams. His dribbling skills, speed, and ability to be decisive in the final gesture convinced the Luxembourg national team staff to recall him. Hamza Kamadani received his first call-up to the Luxembourg national team A at 16. He left Syria at 7 to escape the war. He had to build a new life in Luxembourg, but football has always been present in his life. He joined FC Schifflange 95, a club in the south of the Grand Duchy, then Swift Hesperange and Racing FC Union Luxembourg. A classic formation path in Luxembourgish football that doesn't attract international attention but rather from the big club in the region. Hamza Kamadani had to face significant challenges to achieve his goal. He had to put a lot of things aside to continue to believe in his goal, but he never stopped believing in himself and his work, even in the most difficult moments. He received a huge thank you to his parents for all the sacrifices they made for him.
