Despite a loss last week at Metz, ASNL 2 secured promotion to National 2 with a 2-0 win against Sedan on Sunday, June 7. The second promoted club will be determined after the third playoff match between Sedan and APM Metz on June 14 at the Dugauguez Stadium. Before this match, a Sedan victory would have meant a third consecutive promotion. On the other hand, the Nancien reserves had to react after their defeat conceded in the first playoff. From the first quarter of an hour, the ASNL players opened the score before making the break before the break. A advantage they will keep until the final whistle, despite numerous opportunities from the Ardennes and a lack of offensive success.
