Metz HubMetz is counting on its two new Georgian players, Giorgi Tsitaichvili and Giorgi Abuachvili, to turn things around. The two men, who share the same agent, already knew each other and have become close.
Who are they?
Giorgi Tsitaichvili, 24, and Giorgi Abuachvili, 22, are Metz's two new players. They were recruited this summer to replace Georges Mikautadze, who left the club to join OL.
Why did Metz choose them?
According to Frédéric Arpinon, Metz's sporting director, the two players were chosen for their talent and potential. « I don't want to put pressure on Abu, but he has a bit of the qualities of Kvaratskhelia », he said.
What is their goal?
The two players aim to help Metz escape the relegation zone. The club is currently 18th in Ligue 1, with 17 points from 34 games, and has conceded 76 goals this season.

What's next for them?
The two players will have to face the pressure of playing for a club that is fighting for its Ligue 1 survival. Their next match will be on December 4 against Clermont Foot, away from home. Metz's last result was a 0-0 draw against Nice on May 17.
Metz is currently 59 points behind leaders Paris Saint-Germain and has a recent form of DLLDL. The club's supporters hope that the two new players can help the team turn things around and secure its Ligue 1 status.
